RESIDENCY SUBMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS:

PART A:  A COMPREHENSIVE PDF DOCUMENT, WITH THE FOLLOWING 5 ITEMS, IN ORDER:

• BRIEF COVER PAGE (Including: residency title, artists’ full name, email address, phone number, mailing address and website)
• RESIDENCY PROPOSAL (1 page (250 words max), including any special requirements)
• ARTIST’S STATEMENT (150 words max.)
• ARTIST’S BIOGRAPHY (150 words max.)
• IMAGE LIST (Including: SEQUENCE#; FIRST INITIAL, LAST NAME; TITLE; DIMENSIONS; MEDIUM; YEAR)

*we will consider proposals from small groups of artists working on a project together

PART B:  8 – 10 JPEGS (or audio /visual performances offering insight into the residency process)

FORMAT REQUIREMENTS:

500KB–1MB, 72 dpi, JPEG FORMAT, LABELED using the following sequence: #, FIRST INITIAL, LAST NAME; TITLE; YEAR PRODUCED (example: 1KSMITH-TITLE-2017)

PLEASE NOTE:

• The self-directed residency time frame is 2,3  or 4 weeks between June 27 – Aug 29 where the artist/s have full access to the gallery space with the option to have an exhibition at the conclusion of the residency. 

RESIDENCY FEE:

• The gallery rental for a residency is $100 per week plus an additional $50 damage deposit

• Gallery must be left clean with all surfaces undamaged. 
• arc.hive will provide a letter of confirmation and support for residency or professional development grant applications.
