Eons and a fly bye sky

Open weekends 12-4 pm January 9-23rd

Desiree works with multiple printmaking techniques, most notably, Mezzotint, which she enjoys  for its laborious and intimate qualities. Using mezzotint along with sculpture and other  printmaking techniques, Desiree explores natural and bizarre objects that refuse to be anything  particular and that retain obscurity, ominosity and beauty.

These two different bodies of work reflect two different movements of time. One as the crawling, invisible change that happens over centuries, that make relics of itself. The other as clouds, air, even storms, that are instant and that get swept bye. They are bright and only for a moment.
