Sad Anime Fan indulges in an awe of imagery used by Neon Genesis Evangelion, Anno Hideaki’s information-dense, heavily symbolic, and often enigmatic 1995 anime. The goals of this work are not to produce an analog version of this internal world, but instead a multi-layered, self-reflexive glimpse into a world still belonging entirely to me.
